Welcome to Mobile Cheese Class! We are Lyn & Pete, we travel and teach Cheese & Yoghurt Making Classes.
Our business started in 2017, from our home kitchen in the Central West of NSW. In November 2018, we took it all on the road. We travelled full time in our 'Big Girl,' a Winnebago Longreach motorhome.
Along came 2020 and Covid-19. We now teach and travel from our base. A beautiful cottage located on the edge of the desert at Barringun, in the north west of NSW.

At our Home Cheese & Yoghurt Making Class, you will learn to make Fetta, Persian Fetta, Haloumi, Ricotta, Paneer, Mascarpone, Cream Cheese, Mild & Greek Yoghurt and Labna.

We are still making cheese and yoghurt. My fav cheese to make at present is Feta. The Feta doesn’t last long as we have a list of friends who can’t get enough of it. The yoghurt maker is sensational and when I make a batch I share with friends who keep coming back for more. We’re looking forward to you coming back again to catch up and restock our supplies. Eagerly awaiting the end of restrictions so I can attend another cheese course. This Duo are fantastic, so patient and simple in their approach. They gave me the confidence to try cheese making and family and friends are grateful too! The only downside is that I came home too full of cheese to
eat the dinner my hubby made that night.

I just loved the cheese and yoghurt making class I attended. I think it was around January 2019 in Wauchope and I'm pretty sure it was the very first class Lyn and Pete ran as they embarked on their 'mobile cheese making' adventure.
They made our group feel more like a gathering of old friends while delivering a fun demonstration filled with plenty of clear and detailed information as well as plenty of yummy tastings. I came away feeling confident that I would be able to actually have a go! So confident that I invested in their whole starter pack. I was excited.
Since then I have not bought any yoghurt, feta or haloumi. I make yoghurt every week. I make haloumi when people come to stay. (Everyone says it's the BEST haloumi ever) I make feta every 2 months. I love it. My husband loves it. Family and friends love it. It's the BEST feta. Honestly ... truly. It's not me ... it's the recipe. I just follow the recipe.
I'm so thankful that a friend happened to mention the class was on. Really....the most useful Saturday afternoon I ever spent.
